Strung: 2017 Experimental Calendar
This experimental calendar works like a graph. The y-axis is the days Sunday through Saturday and the x-axis is the dates 1-31. Each color string represents each of the 12 months. As you follow a string, you can see what date is on what day. Interactivity: The calendar was hung at my CSULB BFA Graphic Design Program Senior Show. I invited those who passed by to take a pin on a cork board and pin into the calendar an important date to them. Eg. Birthday, anniversary, upcoming events, or graduation. I noticed most people pinned their birthdays.
